Alverstraumen RIB Safari

A fast hour on the fjord

Short on time but still want the full RIB rush? This is the one. In a single hour we leave the Bergen waterfront and open up the throttle out across the city fjord, then swing north into Salhusfjorden and under the towering Nordhordland bridge.

From there we thread through the fast-flowing Alverstraumen strait, where the tide squeezes the sea between the islands, before turning for a spirited run back to the city. It's all the speed, spray and scenery of a longer safari, packed into sixty exhilarating minutes.

What's included

• A warm, full-body flotation suit
• Inflatable life jacket, goggles and gloves

Good to know

• Minimum age 8 years; guests under 18 must be with an adult
• Not suitable for pregnant guests or anyone with back or heart conditions
• Dress warmly in layers with closed shoes - it's cooler on the fjord
• Please arrive 20 minutes before departure to gear up
